Title
Learning by Creating: Student Outcomes from Developing an Educational Technology Project
Synopsis
This exploratory case study examines a small interdisciplinary student team at Utah Valley University that developed an AI-supported Canvas LMS learning system. Findings from self-assessments, reflections, artifacts, and faculty observations suggest growth in technical skills, agile project management, teamwork, and problem solving. The study shows that student-led educational technology projects can support both campus innovation and STEM/STEAM professional development.
